Post Doc: Pest Management with Entomopathogenic Nematodes and Fungi
Description: Appointee will coordinate, conduct and publish original research to support growers with management of economically important insect pests using entomopathogenic nematodes and fungi. Projects include various aspects of invertebrate pathology and microbial control such as production and formulation technology, genetics, and ecology. Focus crops will include pecan and peach as well as others. One specified project will be to elucidate and integrate ecological knowledge of a whitefly host and newly discovered entomopathogenic fungus to formulate and test novel pest management strategies. Research will include laboratory, greenhouse, plot and on-farm trials. Location: Joint appointment between the Department of Entomolog
