Research Assistant II
Position Summary Hiring a lab manager for the Tsao Lab in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife to oversee general laboratory maintenance, lab personnel, and to assist with ongoing research projects related to research, outreach, and teaching efforts to reduce the risk of vector-borne disease, with an emphasis on tick-borne disease. Duties will include: Oversee general laboratory maintenance to maintain a safe and functional laboratory. Create and maintain organization of laboratory and field supplies, reagents, and equipment. Properly store, organize, inventory and dispose of laboratory specimens, reagents, and supplies and hazardous waste.
