The tree nut and fruit entomology lab at the University of Georgia-Tifton Campus has an opening for a Graduate Research Assistant position (preferably PhD) starting Spring, 2024. The lab is involved in both basic and applied research on insect ecology and pest management in pecan and citrus crops of Georgia. The student will work on a USDA-funded project to develop integrated pest management strategies for citrus leafminer affecting commercial citrus production in Georgia.
