This research technician will be co-supervised by Dr. Mary Gardiner and Dr. Megan Meuti. They will assist with a USDA-funded project to determine how investments in urban greening and mosquito control affect pollinators and mosquito abundance. During the summer, the technician will assist with field studies to collect beneficial insects and mosquitoes. During the rest of the year, the technician will assist with ongoing projects in the Gardiner and Meuti labs including processing and identifying insect samples, organizing laboratory data, ordering supplies, caring for insect colonies, and other laboratory tasks.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in entomology or a related field, or equivalent experience; 1-3 years previous field and/or laboratory researc
