Postdoctoral Associate
Research: A postdoctoral associate position is available in the Entomology at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR. The research is developing new IPM tools for Arthropod pests (i.e.,  spotted wing drosophila, thrips, moths), and pest slugs. The position will conduct a variety of insect molecular physiology-based approaches to identify bioactive peptides using Receptor interference technology with neuropeptides (i.e., pyrokinin, CAPA, PBAN, diapause, diuretic hormones) and their GPCRs, functional expressions using insect cell lines, molecular and cellular bioassays, and screening.
