Research Weed Scientist
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Forage Seed and Cereal Research Unit in Corvallis, OR seeks to hire a Research Weed Scientist ($82,694 -$98,334 per annum, plus benefits) broadly interested in understanding and managing intractable weeds in seed crop production systems of the Pacific Northwest. A fundamental approach based on integrated weed management combined with alternative tactics and new technology is key to controlling especially challenging weeds. This approach fits within a holistic cropping system program and meshes with other grower practices.
