The Department of Entomology (https://ent.uga.edu) at the University of Georgia (UGA) invites applications for a tenure-track position (9 months) in row crop integrated pest management (IPM) with emphasis on cotton at the Assistant Professor rank. The position is budgeted at 65% research, 30% Extension, and 5% service.  We seek candidates with expertise in IPM and experience and/or interest in sustainable production of row crops. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a nationally recognized research and extension program supported by competitive external funding, to publish high impact research, and to effectively mentor graduate/undergraduate students.
