The Department of Entomology is seeking a term Research Associate 2 for a full-time position (approximately 40 hours/week). This is a one-year position, renewable contingent upon satisfactory performance for up to 3 years. This role involves performing laboratory experiments involving Drosophila, and bed bugs, collecting and analyzing data including preparation of graphs and reports for research presentations, publications and grant proposals in support of project goals. The individual will participate in the development of new processes, implementing the objectives of research studies by applying concepts, principles and technical capabilities to initiate and lead detailed projects.
