Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey seeks a Post-Doctoral Associate for the Cranberry Entomology program located at the Rutgers P.E. Marucci Center located near Chatsworth, NJ. Position is contingent upon satisfactory completion of a Ph.D. degree and documentation of such by the anticipated start date of April 01, 2025. The successful applicant will join a vibrant laboratory with a diverse and collaborative environment with access to cutting-edge resources in a major research university.  The responsibilities of this position will focus on developing and implementing laboratory and field protocols to study cranberry resistance to the blunt-nosed leafhopper, a vector of false blossom disease, assessing infestation risk, and investigating vector-pathogen dynamics.
