Minimum Education and Experience: The candidate must have a PhD in ecology or related field such as entomology, natural resources, or organismal biology. Five or more years of experience designing and conducting large scale bee monitoring, includingfield collection techniques and in-lab processing. Specialized knowledge and training in bee taxonomy (can identify many eastern North American bees to the species level). Experience with pollen metabarcoding techniques including use of molecular equipment (PCR, Tape Station, Qubit) is required. Experience managing logistics for large field research projects, including landowner relations with private and public agencies and research permitting.City: New Brunswick
