Postdoctoral Scholar
This position is for a Postdoctoral scholar in the area of mosquito borne disease, mosquito biology, and mosquitomicrobiome interactions.The position is housed in the Department of Entomology and in affiliation with the InfectiousDiseases Institute.The successful candidate will expand work investigating the interplay between nutrition, microbiota, and viral susceptibility in Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. They will also be expected to develop independent projects that build upon the laboratorys ongoing work. In collaboration with their scientific mentor (the P.I.), the successful candidate will design and execute experiments, analyze data, and publish findings in competitive scientific journals.
