Researcher 5 - Department of Pharmacology
This position is in a laboratory that studies the allosteric regulation mechanisms of protein kinases. We work with a variety of methods (EPR, NMR, x-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, FRET, etc.) to determine dynamics and structural interactions of small molecule drugs as well as binding partners of various kinases. This project would be focused under an independent grant to study the mechanism Myc transcription factor stabilization by Aurora Kinase A.Job Responsibilities:75% Research work to lead an individual project in the lab: â¢ Recombinantly expressing and purifying Myc transcription factors and components of the ubiquitin ligase machinery by developing new methodology⢠Real-time tracking of ligand-driven allosteric structural transitions in Auror
