PhD Graduate Research Assistant: Natural Resource Sciences - Entomology
One graduate research assistantship is available in the Systematic Entomology lab pursuing a degree in Natural Resource Sciences with a focus in Entomology at North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND, USA. A preferred start date is January 2025, latest start date April 2025. The graduate student will conduct field research surveying for bees using multiple collection methods at a number of locations, mostly in southeastern North Dakota. An overall goal of the project is to compare present day findings to those of researchers working in the first half of the 20th century. Research duties include collection, preparation, preservation and identification of bee species from those sites, data recording, analysis and management and publication of findings in appropriate journals.
