Bryn Mawr College has an opening for a Biology Lab Coordinator.   THE POSITION The Department of Biology seeks a full-time, 12-month Biology Lab Coordinator (staff) to provide support for instruction in the Biology Department’s teaching laboratories. The primary areas of responsibility include assisting faculty with laboratory setup and clean-up; preparing common reagents (e.g. buffers, solutions, etc.) for teaching labs; preparing media (e.g. bacterial media, insect food, plant media, etc.) to support courses and faculty-supervised student research; assisting faculty with animal and plant care; ordering and maintaining the inventory of teaching lab supplies; and ensuring cleanliness of laboratory glassware and teaching laboratory spaces.
