Postdoctoral Research Associate - Biological Control in Protected Agriculture
This is a 12-month appointment at Mid-Florida Research and Education Center, University of Florida. However, there is an option that the candidate can work out of Dr. Cindy McKenzie’s USDA-ARS laboratory in Fort Pierce, Florida. This assignment may change in accordance with the needs of the unit. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program in biological control of invasive ornamental and landscape pests that leads to publishing research in peer-reviewed journals. Duties will include: conduct applied research on previously funded projects on invasive thrips and whitefly control; develop protocols and conduct research on ornamental banker plant based management of invasive pests of interest; develop research program for integration of predatory mit
