The Kobilka lab in the Department of Cellular and Molecular physiology, Stanford School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Life Science Research Professional to perform basic functions and activities involved in defined research projects, and independently conduct and analyze experiments. The goal of research in our lab is to characterize the structure and mechanism of action of G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). Duties for this position included engineering and purifying membrane proteins and imaging them using advanced fluorescence microscopy techniques. This is a one year fixed-term position.
