Assistant Professor of Disease Ecology
The Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology (EEOB) invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Disease Ecology, starting July 1, 2024. Candidates should address key topics in the ecology and evolution of directly transmitted or vector-borne infectious disease in human or wildlife populations, including but not limited to: factors and interactions influencing the transmission of emerging infectious diseases; host movement or behavior as they relate to pathogen transmission; spatial processes influencing disease invasion or persistence; disease dynamics in multi-host or multi-vector systems; population dynamics, genetics and immunology of hosts
