Requisition Number: S_231000Department: Agricultural Rsch Division-0786Description of Work: As a Greenhouse Technician, you will:Assist the greenhouse manager with day-to-day operations of the Beadle greenhouses.Perform various duties that are dependent on growing seasons and needs/requirements of research projects.Monitor pest, disease and fertility regimes (includes weekly detection of pests and disease),clean-up infected areas and plant material.Help with researching plant problems, safety issues, inventory, fertilizing, and autoclaving.Ability to obtain a pesticide applicators license within six months of hire essential.
