Description:

Large manufacturer of consumer products seeking a Pest Management Scientist with experience in storage pest management, and in developing environmentally safe pest control methods for agricultural-based consumer products.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing agricultural products in storage facilities is highly desired.
• Strong background and experience in semiochemicals-related bioassays
• Practical experience in electroantennagraphy (EAG, GC-EAD); Gas Chromatography (GC), and Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), as related to semiochemicals.
• Working knowledge of electroantennagraphy, insect behavioral bioassays, and field trials of beetles, is particularly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.
• Ability to present results in public forums and publish novel findings in peer-reviewed journals.

Education:

• Ph.D. or MSc in one of the following or related disciplines in biological or physical science:
• Entomology, Ecology, Biology, Chemistry
