The Department of Microbiology and Immunology is seeking a Life Science Research Professional 3 (LSRP3) to perform complex functions and activities in defined research projects, and independently conduct a major portion of the research project as a member for the Yang Lab. Dr. Yang's research group focuses on understanding the mechanisms responsible for viral replication and development of new strategies to combat viral pathogens. We combine chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, and molecular virology approaches to tackle challenges in both basic and translational research.
