Summary:The successful candidate will engineer genetic complex genetic circuits in human and insect cell lines. Part of this project will include building and testing alternative programmable transcription factors and Base Editors for the host of interest.Essential Funcitons:(35%) Molecular biology: The applicant will measure Base Editor activity in mammalian cells(35%) Genome engineering: The applicant will use DNA assembly techniques to build genetic timekeeper designs(30%) Data analysis: The applicant will independently interpret results to design follow on experiments
