We are accepting applications for a Research Specialist I in the Department of Plant Science and Technology. The successful candidate will be part of a research team working on expanding basic biology of insect pests of corn using a multidisciplinary effort applying multiomic approaches (e.g., metabolomics, genomics) and mathematical modeling. Duties will include coordinating and carrying out standard insect and plant experiments for a funded USDA-NIFA project. The employee will assist with insect colony rearing and perform other tasks as assigned.
