Postdoctoral Position in Applied IPM and Biological Control of Invasive Species
Position Summary: This position addresses the use of natural enemies (including pathogens) in the biological control of the invasive spotted lanternfly (SLF, Lycorma delicatula) in urban environments. The project is part of a collaborative effort with USDA and other university researchers with opportunities for networking and Extension. The incumbent will also participate in the statistical analysis and publication of existing data sets. The incumbent will be responsible for: 1) designing research protocols and conducting lab and field experiments on the biological control of SLF using pathogens and other natural enemies, 2) data management, 3) supervising undergraduate students, 4) statistical analysis and publication of on-going research projects, and 5) presenting r
