Research Technologist II
Position Summary Assist in overseeing and coordinating Nematology field and lab research program to meet research goals.  Activities include conducting lab and field experiments; entering, managing, compiling data; assisting with compiling test results and preparing information for reports and publications; communicating with growers; using farm machinery such as tractors, planters (transporting them by trailer to field sites),  supervising and training student workers; assisting in maintenance of equipment; ordering supplies and coordinating university vehicles used for field and laboratory work. Some activities will require working under mildly difficult conditions and overnight travel. Works hours are typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but variable. Pesticide Applicators License and
