Ag Research Technician II-Greenhouse
Requisition Number: S_220487Department: Agricultural Rsch Division-0786Description of Work: Position will be responsible for assisting the greenhouse manager with day to day operations of the Beadle greenhouses. Position will perform various duties that are dependent on growing seasons and needs/requirements of research projects. Monitor pest, disease and fertility regimes (includes weekly detection of pests and disease), clean-up infected areas and plant material. Also help with researching plant problems, safety issues, inventory, fertilizing, and autoclaving. Ability to obtain a pesticide applicators license within six months of hire essential.
