Research Professional - Small Fruit Entomology
Position Summary: An opportunity to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team as Research Professional (with full benefits) is currently available in the Blueberry Entomology Laboratory in the Department of Entomology at the University of Georgia. The job will entail basic and applied research related to biology, ecology, and management of insect pests of blueberries and other small fruit crops in Georgia. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of insect pest management and implementation of field and lab experiments involving insect pests, and basic knowledge of experimental design, data collection and data analysis. A general understanding of insect colony rearing and colony maintenance is expected. Successful candidate will physically work independently in laboratory
