Research Associate-Fixed Term
Position Summary The biological control laboratory of Dr. Henry Chung at Michigan State University at the Department of Entomology invites applications for a Research Associate (postdoctoral) position studying the molecular mechanisms underlying desiccation resistance in Drosophila species. The aim of the research is to determine the molecular mechanisms underlying how insects evolve desiccation resistance and is important in determining how climate change impact insect populations. The research will involve insect physiology experiments and molecular laboratory components. The initial appointment is for one year with potential for renewal based on availability of funding.
