Job Description: The Potnis lab at the department of Entomology and Plant Pathology, Auburn University is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for an NSF-funded project to work on investigating host adaptation strategies used by plant pathogenic bacteria using bioinformatics, genetic and functional genomics approaches. Candidates with training and demonstrated experience in molecular genetics, bioinformatics, including use of R and script-based programming languages are encouraged to apply. Additional qualifications include effective writing and communication, strong problem solving and critical thinking, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary and interactive research environment.
